"The problem with Burma"

After his travels in SE Asia Rory told me that "the problem with Burma, Dad, is that they don't have any WiFi". Well they do now... In the temple. It is still very early days but you can smell the rate of change.

There are no old cars in Yangon, the Governor decided that he didn't like them and ordered them all crushed. I hope that he doesn't see ours! He also didn't like motorbikes, so apart from the police there aren't any. I cannot believe that there is another City in SE Asia where the motorbike isn't the main mode of transport.


We're off to the Union bar tonight and then an early start tomorrow. It will be good to hit the road. The car has started first time every time so far, so fingers, and everything else crossed!
