Wow! Completely covered in Burmese gold leaf and renewed every 7 years or so due to the 200 inches pa of rainwater. There is a huge diamond on the top! The British nicked the huge bell but fortunately it was recovered. It was then nicked by the Portugese who managed to drop it in the Irrawaddy from where it has never been recovered. As one of my fellow travellers commentated "one of the few things you British aren't responsible for!"
